Hey Guys,

Sorry for the delay, I've been pretty busy with school lately and all that good stuff. Today I was feelin' in a funky mood, so I started workin' on a cool little mix. I'm not really done workin' on the effects n' such, but here's something for ya'll to vibe to this week.

New Controllers For Ableton Users!

Check this baby out - the Novation Launchpad. It's almost like a Apc40, which came out not long ago, but it doesn't have the cross fader, knobs, and other midi options. It's simply almost like a monome - just a bunch of rubber buttons. I thought it was just for launching clips, but as I looked into it more, you can use the buttons as virtual faders, knobs, and whatever else you can think up. It's actually a really cool midi controller that I might even think about getting once I figure out the price.

New Chromeo Single...

Check it out, Chromeo - Night By Night. It's their first original since 2007. I'm diggin' the guitars and the disco feel, but for some reason, it really doesn't do it for me like their other albums, which were full of cuts.

New Toys For Us Dj's

Check out this bad boy - The Pioneer CDJ-2000. As if the 1000's didn't have enough options, they come out with a new deck that takes almost all multimedia options. You name it, it can play it. You even have the option of using CD's, Media Cards, or the built in "Pioneer Rekordbok," which is essentially Serato, but without the need of the annoying software box, and cords. On top of that, for any of you Dj's that also like to incorporate Ableton into your sound, it can be used as a MIDI controller (One hell of an expensive Midi controller).

Long Time No See

It's been a while since I've posted anything. Just for the update, I'm currently working on a new mix, which should be done pretty soon. I didn't really know how to get it going, so I went with a more "hard" motif. Expect some hard, bangin', distorted, sounds, soon.

Also, for any of you music-goers that like to constantly find new music all the time, this is a great tool that I constantly use (Thanks Pete). It's called The Hype Machine. It's a site that updates music blogs, so you'll always have new, awesome music, being updated all day long.
